Becoming quite the hit with parents and hobbyist. My kids all use the FRSRadio to stay in touch. Many Brands are available at low and high costs. I chose the 1008 and 1010 Models of the Ranger Radios for 29.99 at Wal-Mart. They work well for kids and neighborhood communications.

You can get some fancy FRS radios as well. They all work on the same frequencies so if you want a high priced unit and want the kids to have a cheap replacement unit that's a good way to go.
